That means that each object component (for example a wall layer) will take the texture mapping assigned to the whole object.<\/p>\r\n<hr class=\"separator\">\r\n<h2>Texture mapping on a VisualARQ object<\/h2>\r\n<p>To apply the texture mapping to a VisualARQ object just select it (for example a wall) and from the properties panel, under <em>Texture Mapping<\/em> apply it like you would do with any Rhino geometry.<\/p>\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/stg.visualarq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/VisualARQ_object_texture_mapping.gif\" alt=\"Setting texture mapping to a VisualARQ object from the Properties panel.\" width=\"980\" height=\"650\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18874\" \/>\r\n<hr class=\"separator\">\r\n<h2>How to apply a different texture mapping to a component<\/h2>\r\n<p>Since applying a texture mapping by component is not supported yet, to achieve that we recommend using a material with a WCS (world coordinate system) mapping. This way the material will have its own texture mapping and will not get affected by the one applied to the whole object if it had any.<\/p>\r\n<p>The WCS mapping option can be set from the material texture settings, the WCS (box style) will be usually the right choice.
