These objects include walls, beams, columns, doors, windows, openings, railings, stairs, slabs, roofs and spaces.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<hr class=\"separator\">\r\n<h2>Insert a schedule table<\/h2>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>Run the <span class=\"va-command-icon\"><span>_vaTable<\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"VisualARQ table command icon\" src=\"https:\/\/stg.visualarq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/VA_Table.jpg\" width=\"26\" height=\"26\" \/><\/span>\u00a0command to insert a new table in the model. A dialog with the list of table styles available will appear.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 24px;\">Select a\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 24px;\">Table style <\/strong>(i.e. <em>Openings<\/em>)<span style=\"line-height: 24px;\">\u00a0from the insert dialog box.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li>Select <strong>all objects<\/strong> you wish to quantify on the table. The command filters the selection automatically, detecting only\u00a0the corresponding type of object according to the table style selected.<\/li>\r\n<li>Left-click anywhere on the screen to choose an <strong>insertion point<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<hr class=\"separator\">\r\n<h2>Create a new table style<\/h2>\r\n<p>The information of the tables, such as the table fields or object types are defined by the table styles.<\/p>\r\n<p>To create a new table style for the wall object:<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>Run the <span class=\"va-command-icon\"><span>_vaTableStyles<\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"_vaTable\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/stg.visualarq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/VA_Table.jpg\" width=\"26\" height=\"26\" \/><\/span>\u00a0command to open the table styles dialog.<\/li>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/stg.visualarq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Table-Styles-Dialog.png\" alt=\"VisualARQ table styles dialog with a table for walls selected\" style=\"margin-top: 20px;margin-bottom:20px;\" width=\"766\" height=\"537\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14381\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stg.visualarq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Table-Styles-Dialog.png 766w, https:\/\/stg.visualarq.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Table-Styles-Dialog-300x210.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 766px) 100vw, 766px\" \/>\r\n\r\n<li>Press the <em>New style\u00a0<\/em>button in the <em>Style Manager<\/em> dialog box. Follow the steps from the table style wizard to define the new table style parameters.\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Set the <strong>Style name<\/strong> (i.e. <em>Walls<\/em>).<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Object type<\/strong>: Select the <em>Wall<\/em> object (more than one object type can be selected).<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Table fields<\/strong>: Specify the field name and the correspoding\u00a0<strong>property<\/strong> (i.e. <em>Style, Area, Length<\/em> and <em>Volume<\/em>).<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Quantity field<\/strong>: Option to specify the field in which to group the table elements. In this case, group the wall objects by the <em>Style<\/em> property.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>Press <em>OK<\/em> to accept changes. These new table style features can be edited anytime.
