This video shows the round-tripping capability of the NOL (National Object Library) from a VisualARQ and Rhino model to Revit and back.
The National Object Library (NOL) server is meant to meet the needs of Australian infrastructure and building projects. The NOL manager would maintain the generic objects and update them to match changes in Australian Standards and Legislation. Manufacturers will be able to upload details of their products to the NOL and manage their products over time. The key feature will be free access by end users.
NOL is meant to support the main AEC software programs including Rhino due to its big potential compared to conventional CAD software, and also VisualARQ, which simplifies the BIM experience in Rhino.
